You will embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, located approximately 2 hours from Arusha. Known as one of Tanzania's hidden gems, Tarangire is famous for its vast population of elephants, which can often be seen in large herds wandering near the Tarangire River. The river serves as a vital water source, attracting an array of wildlife, especially during the dry season.

After breakfast, we will proceed with game drives safari in the Serengeti exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of large predators and the gentle herbivorous, on which they feed.
The word Serengeti stems from the Maasai language and literally means endless plains. Many predators roam these vast grasslands; over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Breakfast then collect lunch boxes, last game drive while heading to Ngorongoro Conservation area. Today you will visit one of the seven African wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater, created when a huge volcano erupted two million years ago. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, the crater has the highest concentration of animals anywhere in Africa. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to many lion families, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests and many more species. And nowhere else offers a chance as good as this to spot the rare black rhino.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning in the tranquil surroundings of Lake Eyasi, reflecting on your cultural and scenic experiences. If time allows, you may take a short walk along the lakeshore or engage in optional activities, such as:

Visiting the nearby Hadza (Hadzabe) community, one of the last hunter-gatherer people in Tanzania, to gain further insights into their unique lifestyle. Observing the Datoga blacksmiths and learning about their traditional craftsmanship.
Following your activities, begin your scenic drive back to Arusha, passing through stunning landscapes and bustling towns. Along the way, take in views of the Rift Valley escarpment, agricultural fields, and the ever-changing scenery that highlights Tanzania's natural beauty.
