After breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive carrying packed picnic lunch. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lions and is one of the few places where you have the chance to see the Big Five during an early morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under safari vehicles and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded, among these include 16 species of eagle, hawks and falcon, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustards, and 9 species of sunbirds. Masai Mara -Lake Nakuru
You will wake up this early morning for a full breakfast. Thereafter, you'll leave for Lake Nakuru to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. You will have afternoon game drives in the park until evening. This park is a renowned paradise for bird watchers with its high population of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos, which form a very beautiful deep pink coloration around the edges of the lakeshore. Apart from these flamingos, there are also over 400 species of birds visiting the lake. Animals can also be sighted in the park including Rothschild’s giraffes, black and white rhinos, waterbucks, reedbucks, lions, buffalos, leopards, baboons, and several other species of plains game.
