Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

7:00am: Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport.

7:30am: Depart from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, which is approximately a 2 to 3-hour drive.

Upon arrival, we will have a brief registration before we begin the morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Watch for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and the famous tree-climbing lions. The park is also known for its diverse bird species, including large flocks of flamingos.

12:30pm: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the park.

1:00pm: Continue the game drive.

4:00pm: Drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

7:00am: Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge.

7:30am: Depart for Ngorongoro Crater (approximately a 1 to 2-hour drive).

9:00am: Arrive at Ngorongoro and descend into the crater for a full-day game drive. Look for the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard—and other wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests and hippos.

12:30pm: Have a picnic lunch inside the crater.

1:00pm: Continue game viewing.

3:30pm: Ascend from the crater and drive back to the lodge in Mto wa Mbu.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha

7:00am: Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge.

7:30am: Depart for Tarangire National Park. The drive takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

9:00am: Arrive at Tarangire National Park and begin the game drive. Look out for large herds of elephants, lions and cheetahs. The park is famous for its majestic baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts various wildlife.

12:30pm: Have a picnic lunch in the park.

1:30pm to 4:00pm: Continue exploring Tarangire, spotting more wildlife as you venture deeper into the park.

4:00pm: Begin the drive back to Arusha. This drive will take approximately 2 to 3 hours.
