Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park after an early breakfast or packed lunch.
Above all, Manyara National Park has most visible predators and prime tourist attraction are lions, famous for their habit of climbing trees.
Why the lions of Lake Manyara National Park? And not those of nearby Serengeti and Ngorongoro spend so much time in trees remains a mystery. The acacia woodlands south of the Msasa River provide an ideal spot for the Lions to retreat from the sun.
However, the only kind of their species in the world, not only they make the ancient mahogany and elegant acacias their home during the rainy season and are a well-known but also rare feature of the northern park. In addition, the lions, the national park, is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world — a fact that accounts for interesting game viewing of large families of primates.

Lake Natron is the best option if you plan to visit Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Park. After an early breakfast or breakfast box, drive to the North of the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a half day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. This is due to the distance from Lake Natron to the Serengeti National Park.
What makes Lake Natron so special?
-Lake Natron has little rain. There is less rain because Lake Natron is in a desert. Lake Natron gets 400mm rain per year.
-It contains great quantities of salt, soda and magnesite.
-Sometimes the water can turn red.
-Enough flamingos around the lake, easy to visit Ol Doinyo Lengai "The mountain of God". Ol Doinyo Lengai towers above Lake Natron and its countless water birds.

Lake Natron To Northern Serengeti
Enjoy breakfast at your Lodge. After breakfast, depart for the northern part of Serengeti National Park to witness the wildebeest migration.
Then your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. You will enjoy a fantastic picnic lunch en route to a full day excursion to Serengeti National park.
The wildebeest migration in the Wogakuria area usually runs from August to October, depending on rainfall. In addition, a long stretch of the Mara River runs through the northern Serengeti National Park, and the Mara River is the most challenging obstacle to the migration. Watching the wildebeest herds crossing the Mara River is incredible.
But when the rains stop & the land dries up, the migrating herds move clockwise into the Maasai Mara region via the western Corrido and Grummet rivers. Once the light rains arrive, the herds move to the northernmost parts of the Serengeti near the Mara River and the Lami Wedge. Around 1,500 wildebeest migrated to the Mara River.
