Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire park

Out-of-game viewing time: 2 hours
After breakfast, the tour begins with a stop in Arusha town for any last-minute shopping. We then head to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population and baobab trees. The park is home to up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, 30,000 zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, ostriches, warthogs, and acacia savannah. Our guide will ensure a unique game drive experience, away from the crowds, with detailed explanations about the park. In the evening, you will be driven to your lodge accommodation.

Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti park

Tarangire to Serengeti park

Distance: 220 km
Non-game viewing time: 3 to 4 hours
After breakfast, we depart for Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-altitude farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will stop at the Ngorongoro gate for a brief explanation and photos, and then at the crater viewpoint for more pictures and insights from your guide. We then proceed to the Serengeti National Park, known for its endless plains and rich wildlife habitats. Enjoy lunch at Naabi gate or a bush lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. We will then head to Seronera Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Wake up early for a cup of tea or coffee before leaving with a packed breakfast to enjoy a game drive while comfortable. This is a great chance to witness predator activity as they are most active during early morning hours. We will explore central to eastern Serengeti, looking for cheetahs, lions on the rock, and other animals. After the morning game drive, we will pack up and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a game drive en route, seeing more wildlife. Overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Camp.

Day 4

After breakfast, your safari guide will drive you to Ngorongoro Crater, where we will descend over 600 meters to view wildlife. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a wide variety of animals, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, elk, warthog, hippo, giant African elephants, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards. We will visit Lake Magadi, known for its flamingos, hippos, and other waterfowl, followed by a short walking safari near the hippo pool at Engutoku tok. In the late afternoon, we will head to Lake Manyara Park for overnight.

After breakfast at Fig Tree Lodge, we will explore Lake Manyara National Park, known for its breathtaking views and diverse habitats, including acacia forests, water forests, baobab-dotted cliffs, hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. The park supports a large number of animal species and incredible birdlife, including the world's largest concentration of baboons and tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, we will drive you back to Arusha for your accommodation.
