Explore the vast Mara during a Spectacular Full-day Game Drive
After breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. The fantastic wildlife experience continues! Large herds of herbivores graze on the plains, cheetahs and leopards hide in their locations. Masai Mara is the heart of Kenyan tourism, with large numbers of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and over 400 bird species recorded in the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and for this reason, a visitor hardly misses seeing the Big Five—buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino. Discover the Endless Plains of Masai Mara
Have another full day exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara. Masai Mara National Reserve is a 1,510km² (580mi²) wildlife area, a small extension of the larger Serengeti National Park.
The Masai Mara is world-renowned for its abundance of wildlife, estimated to be in excess of 3 million, with the highest concentration of big predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and serval cats. This is one of the main reasons why doing the 4-day safari is justified. The midday meals will be at a picnic site close to the Mara River migration point. You have a full day to explore the Mara.
In the evening, you will visit the Masai Village, a unique cultural experience that will engage and intrigue you. Later, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay, reflecting on the day's unique encounters.
