Day 1

Travel to Bwindi Forest

Travel to Bwindi Forest

You will be picked from your hotel of choice in Kampala or Entebbe by our representative/company driver. Start at 7:00am and drive to Ruhiija Sector of Bwindi Forest. Stop over at Mbarara for Lunch. Arrival in Bwindi at our lodge will be late this evening. We check-in, refresh and have dinner.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas)
Best Time To Visit June to August and December to February
High Season June to September (Gorilla permits are scarce)
Best Weather June to July and December to February (Less rainfall)

Day 2

Gorilla tracking

Gorilla tracking

We gather at the park headquarters for registration and briefing to prepare for Gorilla tracking in the forest for half day. After tracking, shall come back to our Lodge for lunch and thereafter immediately start the drive to Queen Elizabeth Park area. This is just stopover - we shall not have any activity in the park.

Day 3

Travel to Kibale National Park

Travel to Kibale National Park

We start early after breakfast and drive to Kibale. Lunch at the Lodge and spend the whole afternoon tracking chimps. Unlike the Gorillas, Chimpanzees are always in larger groups and normally feed high up in the trees. Kibale forest is the most reliable location for the apes.

Drive to Kampala or Entebbe

Drive time is about 5hours from Kibale to Kampala / Entebbe. We shall return to Kampala or Entebbe at a hotel of your choice. Today marks the end of our tour.
