After a meet and greet upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport with driver-guide, you'll start a journey to Arusha. While on the way, the driver will explain a bit about Mount Kilimanjaro and Arusha city. The journey takes only 1 hour of driving. You’ll arrive at Summit Safari Lodge for your first night booked on bed and breakfast.

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you'll head into Lake Manyara National Park for new day of exploration. This park, with its permanent water source, draws large herds of wildlife, providing a fantastic opportunity for game viewing. Keep an eye out for cheetahs, lions (some of whom are known to climb trees!), leopards, and hyenas, as well as a remarkable herd of around 3,500 elephants. Lake Manyara is also home to rare species such as elands and gerenuks. Enjoy the tranquility as you overlook the rolling plains in this beautiful oasis, creating an unforgettable safari experience.
