Meet and greet upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport with driver guide and start a journey to Arusha, while on the way the driver will explain a bit about Mount Kilimanjaro and Arusha city. The journey takes only 1 hour driving, you’ll arrive
at Summit Safari Lodge for your first night booked bed and breakfast.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast we head into the Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.

Mto wa Mbu to Lake Manyara

Mto wa Mbu to Lake Manyara

After breakfast we have another spending day in Lake Manyara National Park. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including cheetah, lion (some tree-climbing!), leopard and hyena and a herd of 3,500 elephants. The park is also host to a number of rare species including eland and gerenuka tranquil oasis overlooking the rolling plains.

Day 5

After breakfast you enjoy a full day game drive with lunch at the lodge along the Sogore River Circuit which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River and which is good for lions, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s centre not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed centre offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. You will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the centre in the shade of the giant acacia trees.

Day 6

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Today the safari adventure turns south and continues to the Ngorongoro conservation area (world UNESCO site and was once in the 7 wonders of the world) (6 hrs, 180 km). En route we stop at the Olduvai Gorge, famous as the spot where paleontologist Louis and Mary Leakey discovered some of the earliest remains of mankind. Picnic lunch enroute In the afternoon drive up to the Ngorongoro Crater. one of the largest intact volcanic Crater in the world, the crater floor offers game viewing to homely permanent population of more than 30 000 animals, and is one of the only places in Africa where
you stand a very good chance of seeing the big five (lion, buffalo, rhino and elephant).

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All of the Big Five (rhino, lion, leopard buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Other wildlife that live here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served at the picnic site in the Crater. After lunch, we drive you back to Arusha.
