Day 1

Arusha National Park

Following breakfast, you'll depart from your accommodations in either Arusha or Moshi and head to the park.

Game Drive: You'll embark on a full day of game driving within the park. Your journey will take you past notable park landmarks such as the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater, sometimes referred to as 'Little Ngorongoro.'

Canoe Safari: For an additional cost, you can trade the car for a canoe and enjoy a guided canoe safari on the Momella Lakes, where you may spot bushbuck, giraffes, hippos, and buffalo.

Walking Safari: Also available at an extra cost, you can stretch your legs with a guided walking safari through the park. During your walking safari, expect to encounter vast expanses of forest, inhabited by black and white colobus monkeys, zebras, buffalos, and various antelope species. You'll also have the opportunity to observe over 400 bird species, including the Crowned Eagle, Lanner Falcon, and Levaillant's Cuckoo.

In the late afternoon, you'll return to Arusha.

Following breakfast, you'll set out from Arusha on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. The drive typically takes around two hours, during which you'll pass through the market town of Mto Wa Mbu.

After a brief stop at the village market, you'll enter Lake Manyara National Park. The park is truly a paradise for photographers and boasts some of the finest game viewing opportunities globally. After breakfast, we hit the road once again, heading back towards Ngorongoro Crater National Park.

Our journey retraces our steps through the Serengeti, but this time via a different route, providing ample opportunities to spot the animals you may have missed on day two. As far as the eye can see, you'll behold vast herds of thousands upon thousands of animals; wildebeests and zebras migrating in unison, elegant giraffes, leaping antelopes and gazelles, the majestic African elephant, and the esteemed group of predators.

During this drive, you'll have the chance to spot sleek cheetahs and elusive leopards, foraging hyenas, and, last but not least, the king of the savannah himself—the lion.

Tonight, you'll dine and spend the night either on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater or in the nearby town of Karatu, based on the standard and type of accommodation you've chosen from our options.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha

You'll depart from your accommodations early in the morning for the southbound journey to Tarangire, where you'll spend the day exploring Tanzania's most underrated national park.

Upon entering the park, you'll encounter the iconic Tarangire River, flanked by acacia and Baobab trees, where wildlife roams throughout the day. During the dry season, thousands of animals from the Masai steppe migrate to the Tarangire region in search of water, offering you the opportunity to observe numerous species in a compact timeframe.

The park is home to endangered creatures like the Greater Kudu, Fringe-Eared Oryx, and the Ashy Starling, which you won't find elsewhere.
