Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire national park

Arusha to Tarangire national park

After introducing yourself to your tour guide, we will drive the two hours to Tarangire National Park, which is renowned for its varied landscape, after picking you up from your hotel. The park is most well-known for its high concentration of elephants in the entire nation and for its profusion of ancient baobab trees! You will get a great opportunity to watch how different elephant families interact. Depending on where they have reported seeing animals, we will do a game drive through the park. While herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are common throughout the park, predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are harder to see.

Later, we'll have lunch at the Tarangire River Picnic Site and take in the scenery of the river and surrounding wildlife. Though they may try to scare you away from your food, small monkeys and baboons are nothing to be alarmed about. We'll go on the game drive after lunch and get out of the park in the evening and heading to your accommodation.
