Day 1

Your driver guide shall pick you at your hotel or Airport and give you a short briefing about the safari and later embark on the 6-hour scenic journey to Kibale National Park through the tea plantation, homesteads, farmlands and breathtaking landscapes of Fort portal. You will have a lunch break in Fort portal city and there after go a crater lakes tour that will offer you with picturesque views of the backdrop of the mountain Rwenzori and magnificent views of the countryside,
Thereafter proceed to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast you will head to Kanyanchu centre for a briefing about the dos and don’ts for chimpanzee tracking in the Kibale forest which is also a home to about 12 other primate species. Thereafter you will meet the park rangers and guides and then take the footsteps into the jungle forest. Besides chimpanzees, you may encounter several other primate species like the red-tailed colobus monkeys, Blue, Red-tailed and grey-cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and a variety of bird species, mammals like forest elephants, forest hogs, butterflies and many more during your trekking experience. Upon seeing the chimpanzees, you will be given one magical hour to witness the chimps as they feed, groom, play and scamper at the tree canopies as you take photos of a remarkable experience.
Later in the afternoon, you will proceed to the Bigodi wetlands for the nature walk that will give magical views of several bird species like the great blue turaco, the rare shoebill stork etc.

Day 3

Drive back to Kampala

In the morning after break fast, you will then embark on 6 hour journey back to Entebbe International Airport to Catch up with your flight back home.
You will have multiple stopovers for lunch, short breaks on your way and then proceed to Kampala.
