Arusha is the nation's safari capital and a thriving "tourism-driven" metropolis. Your driver-guide will pick you up at the airport or in Arusha, and the two of you will head to Tarangire National Park to begin your private safari game drive. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park and provides the majority of the fresh water that animals need, is the source of the park's name. Safari Transfer Drive to Lake Natron
You will be taking a car trip through northern Tanzania today, ending at Lake Natron. Following breakfast, you'll check out of Africa Safari Lake Manyara. The four-hour trip is an ideal means of observing several aspects of Tanzania's constantly shifting topography. Drastic, arid, and dusty surroundings gradually replace the verdant, lush foliage as you continue toward Lake Natron after passing the Rift Valley. The sporadic Maasai settlements encountered along the journey fade into the far-off landscape. More old volcano remnants rise around you the further north you go. Ol Doinyo Lengai, which translates to "Mountain of God" in Maasai dialect, is one of them. Among the few that are still active is this volcano. Upon arriving near Lake Natron, you might be able to witness its smoke dissipating into the sky. Spend the night at Africa Safari Lake Natron in a cozy bed.

Walking Around Flamingo Lake and Back to Arusha Area by Car
Put on your walking shoes and join a Maasai guide for an early morning stroll around Lake Natron's shoreline as you look for the lesser flamingo. Up to 2.5 million lesser flamingos can be found at Lake Natron throughout the breeding season, making it the most significant and consistent nesting site in East Africa. The best time to lay and hatch eggs is between October and (early) December, but the bulk of this activity happens between September and April. While the long-legged waterfowl may thrive in this environment, most other living things, especially small birds, find it very difficult to survive. Still, birds that thrive in the alkali oasis have a variety of habitats available in the Lake Flats. Check out in the middle of the morning, and then set out on your journey back to the starting point with a packed lunch. Memories of your African safari journey captured in both your heart and your camera.
