Day 1

Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Zanzibar, you will drive straight to the airport to catch your flight to Serengeti (Seronera airstrip) at around 8:00 am or 11:00 am depending on your flight. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver guide who will brief you and continue exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park for a full-day game drive. The park offers a multitude of wildlife including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Lunch will be served inside the park at around 01:30 pm with soft drinks and unlimited drinking water.

You will have an unlimited drive until the evening when you will drive straight to your luxury tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today you continue exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Your game drive will start early in the morning around 6 am, this is the best time to spot the big cats as they are more active during the cooler hours of the day. You will likely stop for a picnic lunch at a designated area inside the park, this will give you a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning views of the Serengeti.

In the afternoon, as you leave Serengeti you will pass through the Great Rift Valley and stunning landscapes. The drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands is a memorable experience filled with stunning scenery and a chance to see some of Tanzania's diverse wildlife and culture. You will have an en-route game drive to your accommodation, inside Ngorongoro Conservation Area at the rim of Crater for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today early morning around 06:00 am, embark on a remarkable journey to Ngorongoro Crater, the Seventh Wonder of the World. Catch your first glimpse of the lush caldera from the panoramic viewpoint and witness its esteemed reputation come to life.

This coveted safari destination, Ngorongoro Crater, is home to over 120 mammal species, including the iconic Big Five. Spot the endangered black rhinoceros grazing on the grassy plains and observe majestic hippos in the cool waters.
