2 travelers on Start dateArrival To Kilimanjaro - Transfer To Lodge
Upon arrival at your lodfe in Arusha this evening, you will have the option to eat dinner at the lodge, or retire to your room for the night to rest before the next day’s activities. The lodge is an old-fashioned island of quietude tucked away in a plantation, is a great place to unwind after the rigours of long flights. Arusha is only 3 degrees south of the equator, but its 4,500-foot elevation encourages floral luxuriance and gentle airs. So we’ll be more or less surrounded by enthusiastic greenery as we sit on our plantation veranda, perhaps after a relaxing swim looking up at massive Mount Meru, a 14,977-foot volcanic colossus that looms beneficently over this quintessentially African city.
