Day 1
Arusha to Central Serengeti

Your safari will begin by 8AM in the morning with a pick up from your hotel at Arusha. With everyone aboard, you will head towards Serengeti National Park. The 240 Km drive will be covered in about 6hrs. The Serengeti, means endless plains in the local African language and watching the grassland stretch out as far as the eye can see and eventually merging with the sky at the horizon is an absolutely breathtaking view. With an overall land area of 14,763 Sq Kms, It puts our notion about distance to shame. The Serengeti also houses the glorious “Big 5” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard). Along with the “Big 5”, A picnic lunch will be done during the day long game drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Day 2
Central Serengeti to North Serengeti
Central Serengeti to North Serengeti
After breakfast, you will wind through the Serengeti towards the northern region, stopping to experience more wonder on the way! While it boasts abundant wildlife, the Serengeti is best known for its annual great migration. During the migration, vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The migration can be found during any given month, you just need to know where to look! At this time of year, the migration usually is in the Northern Serengeti.

Day 3
Northern to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will slowly return to Central Serengeti with an en route game drive. You may wish to continue your search for the migrating animals before leaving this special place. Every day is different in the Serengeti, and there is always plenty to explore.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater To Arusha
We will descend into the crater as our game drive with a picnic lunch is inside the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is an immense, unbroken caldera that was formed when a volcano erupted millions of years ago. The elevated structure encourages the animals subside within the crater which means there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The powerful group comprises of buffalo, lions, rhinos, elephants and leopards. You can expect to see other wildlife including zebra, hippos, wildebeest and hyenas. The flamingos will lounge gracefully on the banks of the Soda Lake whilst the vultures can be found scavenging for the discarded prey of a predator. Geese and storks are amongst some of the other bird species. Our guides are highly skilled and their ability to track down animals is impressive. This level of expertise is not easily acquired. Later in the afternoon you will ascend to the Crater rim and heading to Arusha.
