Welcome to Duke's Camp

Upon Arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be met by Nxai Travel representatives. You will then be air-transferred to Duke’s Camp.

The camp itself is pitched on an island along the shores of a permanent lagoon, all but hidden amid the boughs of indigenous leadwood and ebony trees. This is a landscape of tawny grasslands interwoven with shimmering channels, where ancient woodland and Ilala palm islands speak to the passage of time in this utterly timeless landscape.

Whilst at Duke's, you will immerse yourself in the wilderness with game drives, mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions, fishing, and sunset boat trips. Scenic helicopter flights and rock art visits are also available, at additional cost.

Tuludi

From Duke's, you will be air-transferred to Tuludi in the Khwai Area. Activities at Tuludi are:
1. Game drive through the concession for close-up encounters with a range of animals that are as diverse as the landscapes.
2. You'll enjoy a slower pace of life on a walking safari with one of the experienced guides.
3. You'll drift through the lily pads on a Mokoro safari and reach all the corners of the Delta that a vehicle simply can’t reach.
4. You'll float along the waterways and rivers on a boat safari, keeping an eye out for the wildlife wandering beside you.
5. Try your hand at a spot of fishing (01 Mar – 31 Dec).
6. Relax by the swimming pool and wildlife-watching from the comfort of your sun lounger.
7. Be part of the KPR Ranger Experience and spend time tracking predators, capturing data, patrolling, and visiting conservation projects (if time allows). This activity is at an additional cost and proceeds from this experience go back into the conservation efforts in the concession.
