Arrival and Sundowner Cruise

Your journey begins as you fly into Kasane. Upon arriving at the airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed and swiftly transferred by road to the tranquil oasis of Chobe Marina Lodge, just a few minutes away. Settle into your comfortable accommodation and take time to unwind, perhaps enjoying a leisurely meal while soaking in the serene surroundings. After lunch, you will have some more time to relax, but be ready by 15h00 (in winter) or 15h30 (in summer) for a sundowner cruise on the Chobe River. You will be back in time for dinner under the stars. Dry snacks are available on the cruise, with a cash bar.

Morning Safari and Afternoon Game Drive

Awaken to the enchanting sounds of the African wilderness as you prepare for an exhilarating morning safari drive in an open safari vehicle. The game drive starts at 06h00, so you should search for nocturnal animals still out on the hunt. You will stop to witness a typical African sunrise while sipping coffee and enjoying homemade pastries. During your safari drive, you'll be accompanied by experienced guides who will share their knowledge of the local flora and fauna, enhancing your safari experience.

You will return to the lodge for a late, hearty breakfast and use the rest of the morning to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Around 15h00 (in winter) or 15h30 (in summer), you will depart on an afternoon game drive through the Chobe National Park with an experienced guide. Your drive includes water, soft drinks, local beer, and dry snacks.

Morning and Sunset Game Drives

No sleeping late in the bush, as you must be ready for your game drive again by 06h00! Savour another African sunrise, hopefully catching some more nocturnal animals on your way. Be back for breakfast and some more relaxation (or exploring the camp and its facilities), have a quick nap after lunch and get your binoculars and camera ready to capture wildlife action on your sunset drive. By dinnertime, you will be back in camp to share your experiences with other guests.

Morning Adventure and Departure

On the final day of your safari, you have the option to rise early for one last morning game drive in Chobe National Park, offering another chance to spot iconic wildlife species. Enjoy refreshments including teas, coffees, and homemade pastries. Alternatively, you might prefer another serene river cruise or simply stay at the camp to soak in the peaceful surroundings.

After breakfast at the lodge, it's time to bid farewell to Chobe Marina Lodge. Check out from your accommodation and take a scenic road transfer back to Kasane, where you will catch your return flight.
