Arrival to Kigali and transfer to Musanze

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met with a warm welcome by our company representative, get cleared by the customs, exchange some money in local currency, drive to the hotel for some good rest as you wait for the following adventure. Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable

Check out early with your packed breakfast. On this special day you will have the rare opportunity to observe the famous Rwandan Golden monkeys through the forested slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience. You will get to the golden monkeys, spend a full hour with them, and be back at the base in time for lunch at the lodge. Check in and have your full relaxation the rest of the day as you enjoy property amenities. Evening at leisure.

Gorilla Trekking & Visiting the Batwa Pygmies

Wake up very early and take breakfast. After breakfast, head to the park for briefing on gorilla trekking. The briefing takes place at 7:00am and is conducted by the head park guide or chief Ranger. It is compulsory to attend the briefing because to helps you prepare well and have all the relevant information you need during your time with the gorillas After the briefing, you will go into the forest to track the primates. The final reward is watching the gorillas for one hour in the wild. After your one hour observing the gorillas is done, you should head back to the starting point to meet your guide. The Guide will take you back to lodge for lunch. In the late afternoon head out for a visit to the Batwa pygmy community. While with them, you learn about the difficulties they face adapting to a new world. The Batwa will entertain you with songs, dance and storytelling. Return to the lodge, leisure time.
