3-Day Tsavo East Classic Adventure Tour

Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park and Game Drives

We will pick you up from the hotel or airport and drive to Tsavo East National Park using the Mombasa-Nairobi Trans-African highway. We will start with an en route game drive, allowing you to spot animals such as red elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, and giraffes, among others. You will check in at the lodge for lunch around 1:00pm. At 3:30pm, we will depart from the lodge and start another game drive using the Voi main gate until 6:00pm. During this drive, you will have the opportunity to see various wildlife, especially giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lots of elephants, and, if lucky, the big cats. Later, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Full-Day Game Drive in Tsavo East National Park

At 6:30am, enjoy a quick cup of tea or coffee and depart for an early morning game drive to spot the big cats returning from their nocturnal hunts. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast and then choose to relax at the lodge or depart for an optional short game drive around 10:30am, returning in time for lunch. Relax and enjoy the swimming pool, and then, at 4:00pm, we will embark on another game drive to spot more wildlife. Just before sunset, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Early Morning Game Drive and Depart to Mombasa

Start the day with an early breakfast, then head out for a morning game drive to capture the sunrise. This is an excellent opportunity to see the big cats, such as lions, either hunting or feasting on a kill. Later, depart for Mombasa using the Voi-Mombasa highway, and expect to arrive late in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of the safari.
