Journey from Diani to Tsavo East and Kivuko Eco Camp

Your adventure starts with a 5:00 am pick-up from Diani, heading to Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate. As dawn breaks, you'll embark on an exhilarating game drive, spotting elephants, lions, and giraffes against Tsavo's vast landscapes. By midday, you will reach Kivuko Eco Camp in Taita Hills Wildlife Conservancy, where the camp’s design harmonizes with the wilderness, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. After a delicious lunch, you'll enjoy an afternoon game drive in the conservancy, exploring diverse ecosystems and encountering various animals. As the sun sets, you'll return to the camp for a delightful dinner, savoring locally sourced ingredients. The adventure continues with a thrilling night game drive, offering a unique chance to observe Tsavo's nocturnal creatures. Under the starlit sky, the wild sounds create an unforgettable experience as you explore the park's nighttime wonders.

Morning Game Drive and Departure

As the dawn breaks over the Taita Hills, you'll wake up early to the serene sounds of nature. At 6:00 am, you'll set out for a morning game drive, the crisp morning air invigorating your senses. From the safety of your vehicle, you will witness the wildlife of Tsavo East coming to life. Elephants, antelopes, and possibly a pride of lions begin their day, offering spectacular photo opportunities and unforgettable sights. By 9:00 am, you will return to Kivuko Eco Camp, where a hearty breakfast awaits. You'll enjoy a delicious meal, savoring the tranquility of the camp and the breathtaking views one last time. After breakfast, you will check out and prepare for your journey back to Diani.
