2 travelers on Start dateAt 6:00 am, drive to Jinja through the green lush tea and sugarcane plantations, roadside local markets, at 8:00am have a stopover at Sezibwa water falls with its unique cultural history about the Buganda cultural site, rich with birds, folktales and great scenery that will immerse you into the vibrant traditional beliefs and scenic landscape.
Then at 10:00am, proceed to Mabira forest, Uganda’s largest forest near the city. You meet the local guide who will take you for a nature walk that will sweep your body and soul with a fresh air breathe, picturesque views of huge tree species, magnificent butterflies, primates plus colorful bird species.
At 1:00 pm, have a lunch break in town & later enjoy a boat ride on River Nile as it starts exiting Lake Victoria. This is will be the last site on this adventurous Jinja tour with a boat ride to the “Source of the Nile” at the now submerged Rippon Falls & flow to the Mediterranean Sea. Later at 4:00pm drive back to Kampala.
