After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River that meanders through its expanse. Known as the ‘river of warthogs,’ it serves as the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park boasts diverse landscapes, from dense vegetation like elephant grass and acacia woodlands to lush groundwater forests. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds often seen gathering near the river, alongside giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Predators such as lions and leopards also roam these lands. The park hosts an impressive variety of bird species, making it a prime destination for bird enthusiasts.

Throughout the park, ancient baobab trees, some over 200 years old, dot the scenery. In the late afternoon, embark on a road transfer back to Arusha, where you can continue with your holiday itinerary.
