Transfer to Kibale and PM Chimpanzee Tracking

We will pick you up from your guest house in Entebbe and transfer to Kibale national park. We recommend you have breakfast as early as 5:00am so that we set off at 6:00am for the primate capital. The transfer is about 6 hours meaning that you will be arriving at your lodge in time for a hot lunch and in the afternoon we will drive to Kanyanchu to join others for briefing before you head into the forest with Uganda wildlife authority rangers in search of chimps. When chimps have been located, you will spend one hour with them and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Bigodi Walk and Transfer to Bwindi Forest

After your breakfast, we will have a short walk in Bigodi wetlands before we transfer to Bwindi. Bigodi community walk brings you face to face with the local communities thriving around the forest and offers a chances of sighting birds, monkeys, baboons among other primates. Later transfer to Bwindi with lunch en route depending where you permits have been booked and overnight at the edge of the park. The transfer about 7 hours transfer.

Gorilla Trekking and transfer to lake Bunyonyi

After your early breakfast (7:00am), you will have short drive to the UWA briefing center where you will be taken through the dos and don’ts while tracking gorillas. After you have been allocated a gorilla family in a group of 8 Pax, you will be led by the armed ranger guides off the forest to search for the mountain gorillas. When gorillas have been located, you will have one full hour viewing them as they go on with their daily lives at a distance of 7-10 meters. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Please note that gorilla tracking can or may take about 4 hours to 8 hours or even more depending where gorillas are but 100% you will see the gorillas.
