2-Day Source of River Nile, Busowoko & Water Rafting

Pick up & drive to Jinja with a stopover at Sezibwa falls and Mabira forest

You will be picked up your hotel in Kampala at 6:00 am and then embark on the drive to Jinja with a stopover along the way for a guided nature walk around the magnificent sezibwa water fall for a picnic, swim and wildlife viewing

At 10:00 am, proceed for a forest nature walk at the Mabira, a paradise to variety of birds and primates like the red-tailed monkey. You can opt to go for zip lining in the forest.

Then at 12 :00 noon, drive via the eye-catching sugar and tea plantations cross the newly built Jinja Bridge and continue to your lodge for check-in and lunch for 1 hour. Thereafter go for a visit to Busowoko waterfall with cascading and thundering waters, unique landscapes, good for white water rafting, tubing among others.

At 4:00 pm, you will go take a boat ride to explore the source of the Nile and the Samuka Island. The Samuka Island is a breeding ground for several species of birds. The driver will take you back to the hotel for a shower, relaxation and overnight.

Enjoy adventure activities - White water rafting, Bungee Jump, Horse riding, Quad Biking & Departure

Every day is an adventure awaiting! After your breakfast at 8:00 am, you check out of the lodge for white water rafting along the river Nile. The river Nile in Jinja provides some of the best spots for kayaking and water rafting in Africa. The stretch with rapids used to be over 10km long until a power dam was constructed recently.

You will join your fellow rafters for registration and the briefing. After the briefing, you will be supplied with life jackets, helmets and other rafting gear. The activity will go on for about 4 hours after which you will be taken for lunch.

After lunch, you will go for quad biking, horse riding and bungee Jumping (if open). Each activity takes one hour.

At 4:00 pm, retreat from the activities and embark on the journey back to Kampala/Entebbe.
