This is a true wildlife haven, not a zoo or theme park, with thousands of animals roaming freely. The park even hosts the annual East Africa migration of wildebeest and zebra.
This is Kenya’s oldest and one of its smallest national parks, yet it offers regular sightings of lions and hyenas. You’ll have the chance to see endangered rhinos, hippos, ostriches, and over 400 bird species.
The park, known as the Kifaru Ark, supports the largest population of endangered black rhinos in Kenya, making it a crucial source for rhino conservation it also boasts numerous walking trails, including a guided trail to the hippo pool.
We’ll also visit the Ivory Burning Monument, a historic site where ivory seized from poachers has been publicly burned to protest the ivory trade and protect elephants.
