Day 1

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti is well Known for both its forest landscapes and the endless plains of savannah, the park is famous for its migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and predators moving across the plains in search of water.

06:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha/Airport, approximately 5-6 hours drive. Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the Serengeti.
12:00 PM: Arrival at the Naabi Hill Gate, the entrance to the Serengeti. Brief registration continue into the Serengeti with a short game drive

12:30 PM: Picnic lunch en-route
01:00 PM: Continue transfer and game viewing, spotting the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and other wildlife.

3:30 PM: Afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti. Look for lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and various antelopes. Explore the Seronera Valley, known for its year-round water and abundant wildlife.

06:30 PM: Drive to your hotel in Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Today, we’ll wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater is estimated to house 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area, which is home to the Big Five, including the African Black Rhino.

06:30 AM: Early breakfast at the hotel.
07:30 AM: Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater and begin the descent for full morning game drive within the crater. Look for the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) and other wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, and hippos

12:30 PM: Picnic lunch at a designated spot, the Hippo Pool
01:00 PM: Continue exploring the crater. Learn about the crater's geology and its rich biodiversity

03:30 PM: Ascend from the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha. Approximately 3-4 hours drive.
