Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from your hotel in Arusha or directly from the airport. Embark on a scenic drive, passing through the breathtaking landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Serengeti National Park.

A picnic lunch will be provided, allowing you to enjoy a meal amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Serengeti. Following lunch, continue your journey with further exploration and game viewing. This part of the drive offers opportunities to spot the Big Five; lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos, along with a myriad of other wildlife species unique to the Serengeti.

In the afternoon, you will engage in a more focused game drive in the Central Serengeti. The Seronera Valley, famous for its perennial water supply, supports an abundant and diverse array of wildlife. You can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and various species of antelopes.

Begin your day with an early morning game-viewing expedition in the Serengeti. Early mornings are prime times to witness predators in action, as this is when they are most active. You will have the chance to see predators like lions and cheetahs during their morning hunts.

Enjoy a picnic breakfast in the heart of the Serengeti, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the wild. Following breakfast, continue your game viewing, taking in more of the incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes the Serengeti offers.

After a picnic lunch in the Serengeti, begin your journey towards Karatu, a drive of approximately 3 hours. Along the way, take in the changing scenery as you leave the Serengeti and head towards the highlands of Karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater

Start the day with an early breakfast at your hotel in Karatu, fueling up for the exciting day ahead. Travel to the Ngorongoro Crater and begin your descent into this UNESCO World Heritage Site for a full morning game drive. The crater is one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five in one location, alongside other wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, and hippos.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot near the Hippo Pool, where you can relax and take in the surroundings. After lunch, continue exploring the crater. This part of the day will provide opportunities to learn about the crater's unique geology and its rich biodiversity.

After thoroughly exploring the crater, ascend and start your journey back to Arusha, which will take approximately 3 to 4 hours.
