Day 1

You will be picked up by our representative from the airport, hotel or your place of residence and transferred to Wilson Airport for your local flight to Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy an en-route game drive and beautiful scenery as you travel to the camp. After lunch, proceed for an excursion to Shetani lava flow, afterwards hiking at Oldonyo Larami volcano. Return to your Luxury camp for dinner.

The Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. Other notable features include Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption. Movie the Ghost and the Darkness was shot here.

On this day, you shall have two scheduled game drives, early morning and Afternoon. Later on in the same day, the hotel shall be providing a scheduled Yoga Session depending on your time flexibility.

The extensive diverse habitats offer ideal area to search for pride of lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffe, zebras, hippos and wildebeests. Mzima Spring, underground water seepage from Chyulu Hills is a good place to watch the hippos. There is also a wealth and diversity of birds’ species.

Today, you shall have an early morning game drive followed by Bush breakfast and then transfers to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. Upon your arrival, we will pick you up from Wilson Airport and transfer you to JKIA airport, hotel or your place of residence.
