You will be picked up after arrival at the airport. It is only 15 minutes to the Secrets Guest House, which is located close to Lake Victoria in a safe and lush area of Entebbe. Secrets has a rooftop restaurant and an excellent kitchen. As they use the slow cooking method, you should order lunch and dinner a couple of hours before.

You'll relax in the morning or explore the shores of Lake Victoria near the Guesthouse. Our guide will pick you you a quarter to 1 pm for your shoebill boat safari which starts at 1 pm. Mabamba Swamps near Entebbe is the best place to spot this rare, prehistorical-looking big bird.

Day 3

Ziwa Rhino Sactuary

After breakfast at about 8 am, your roundtrip will start, on the way you will have the chance to stop at Victoria Mall, for a money exchange, buy a sim card, and some snacks for the trip at the supermarket before your transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
You will start there with a late lunch.
Then relax. Optionally: You may decide on an optional nature walk late afternoon for wildlife and birds. With luck you might as well spot the first rhinos. Price 20 USD.

Day 4

After breakfast, your guided walking safari with rhinos starts at 8 am. You'll watch the white rhinos very closely during their morning activities before they hide and rest deep in the bushes for the rest of the day.
After this breathtaking experience, you will proceed to the viewpoint top of the Murchison Falls in Murchison National Park, where the River Nile needs to squeeze via a 7 m wide and 44 m deep rocky gorge. There you will have time for lunch (your driver will organize snacks for lunch during the transfer).
Your first game drive in Murchison Park is planned for the late afternoon. The park has lions,. leopards, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, Uganda Kob, antelopes, hartebeasts, monkeys and more. With luck, you will finish spotting all the Big Five within 24 hours.

Murchison Falls National Park with Nile Boat Safari and One Day and One Night Game Drive

Early morning game drive at the Northern shores of the Nile in Murchison Falls National Park. The park is famous for elephants, Rothchild giraffes, Pattas monkeys, lions, leopards, Uganda kob, antelopes, hartebeasts, and lots of beautiful birds.
You'll have a lunch break in the lodge.

At 2 pm, you will enjoy the spectacular Nile boat safari to the Murchison Falls. You may expect elephants, crocodiles, lots of hippos, and beautiful birds before you reach a point on the Nile where you can see the mighty Falls from down. Please choose a seat in the upper deck on the left side.

As your lodge is situated inside the park, we included after dinner a guided night game drive. You may spot lions and leopards more easily during a night game drive as well as other night active animals.

Before you reach your lodge, you might stretch your legs by hiking along some crater lakes near Fort Portal. The guided easy hike is included in the package price.

You'll start after breakfast with your luggage to the morning activity —the Bigodi Wetlands walk with a local guide. You will see endemic monkeys, birds, and more and get explanations about nature, the plants, and their use. After this experience, you will enjoy a local lunch at Tinka. The food is delicious and you get explanations and background information about Ugandan food and traditions.
In the afternoon, you'll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park along some crater lakes. You might stop at a Vanilla Plantation Project or a school if you are interested. Our Guide will give you detailed information.

Queen Elizabeth National Park with 3 Highlights

At 7:00 am you will go to the briefing point of the chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge. The guided track will bring you a short downhill path into the gorge, where you will track the chimpanzees.

Lunch will be either packed or hot lunch from the Lodge.

At 2:00 pm the next highlight, the famous Kazinga Channel Boat Safari awaits you. Please take a seat at the upper deck of the boat on the left side. Lots of elephants, buffaloes, birds, and hippos can be seen.

As this lodge as well is situated inside the park, we took the chance to book a second-night game drive after dinner for you. The best chance to see lions and leopards in action is in this part of Uganda.

You'll have a full-day transfer to Kisoro - Mgahinga National Park along a scenic road. Lunch during transfer.

Your driver will stop at scenic viewpoints. If you are interested, you may visit Kitagata Hotsprings. This is a natural spa for Ugandans. This short detour will cost about 5$ entrance fee for those who want to visit it.

You'll have a local lunch during the transfer.

Kisoro is the entrance to Mgahinga National Park. It belongs to the Virunga Mountains and is the home of the endangered mountain gorillas and the here endemic golden monkeys. Other recommended activities here are Volcano Climbing to either Gahinga (6-8 hours), Muhambura, or Sabinyo (both about 12 hours).
Included in the package price is golden monkey tracking or climbing up to one of the volcanoes.

Option: You might decide to do the gorilla tracking instead of golden monkeys or volcano climbing. This is possible and costs only 700 USD extra instead of the usual tracking fee of 800 USD.
