You will depart from Kampala via Mityana, Mubende and Fort Portal with a stopover for lunch and on through the tea plantations. You will arrive check in at the overnight accommodation.
Kibale’s premier attraction is the Kanyanchu Primate Walk, offering the opportunity to seek out thirteen different primate species, with a variety of diurnal monkeys frequently observed. However, the true highlights of this walk are the chimpanzees. Since 1993, the Kanyanchu chimpanzees have been closely monitored, significantly increasing the likelihood of sightings.

You will have an early breakfast and head out to search for the habituated chimpanzees and return for lunch before going out to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk. Bigodi is host to over 138 bird species, primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, rey-cheeked mangabeys, and the red-tailed monkeys.
The Bigodi wetland nature walks are an initiative of the local community and are therefore a direct way of giving back to the community.
