Day 1

You will be collected by your tour guide and driven to a beautiful lodge in Ruhanga which is on the way to Mgahinga National Park. Here you will relax (depending on your choices and arrival time) you can go trekking in the hills through winding paths, plantations and local villages houses, go to visit a local school and project or just relax and prepare for your early start for Gorilla trekking.

Experience of a life time today when you get up early and drive to the National Park and spend several hours trekking to find the Gorillas. An experience that will be imprinted in your memory forever as you get within very close proximity of these amazing primates.

Day 3

Starting your day off travelling to Queen Elizabeth National Park and stopping for lunch at Kazinga Chanel where you will go on a boat trip and view an abundance of animals, both great and small visiting the shore to drink, wallow, feed or wash. Elephants, Hippos, Nile crocodiles and a wide range of birds to name just a few of the wildlife you will see. After this you will drive on into the National park for your first day of safariing. Go on the search for the tree climbing lions, herds of elephants and more! Truly a magical experience. Then stay the night at Kasenyi after completing a dusk safari to encounter the animals who come out at night.

Day 4

Boat trips and Tree climbing lions

After an early morning game drive where you search for apex predators hunting before the sun comes up you will return for breakfast and a relax next to the Lake, Watch the African sun rise and listen to the wonderful sounds of the wildlife. Afternoon you will visit the salt lakes and see flocks of flamingoes and visit a small local craft gathering of handmade African traditional goods before embarking on another safari for the afternoon. The evening will be spent relaxing and taking in the atmosphere around a fire pit with the noise of the wildlife and the starry skies as your back drop. This maybe a budget tour but nothing will prepare you for the magic you will experience at our own Bandas by the lake.
