In the morning, you will either be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenya International Airport and depart for Tsavo East National Park. This comprises of open semi arid plains stretching 200km north of the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. Tsavo East is one of Kenya’s oldest and largest national parks covering approximately 40 percent of the total area of all Kenya’s national parks. You will arrive in time for lunch at a budget camp or guest house and later proceed for a game drive. You will have a chance of seeing the vast herds of dust-red elephants, beisa oryx, zebra, giraffe, lion, cheetah, leopard, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, among other wild animals. The thorny shrubs of Tsavo East are also home to the different species of birds which are often found in Northern Kenya which include vulturine guinea fowl, golden breasted starling, among others. You will return to the budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by your overnight stay.

Breakfast will be served then with picnic lunch, you will proceed for a full day game drive where you will have a chance to explore this expansive park with game viewing. You'll also visit the Aruba dam and the Luggard's Falls named after Lord Frederick Luggard. The falls are renowned for the uniquely shaped water-worn rocks and you can also spot hippos downriver. You will also have a chance to climb the Mudanda rock which offers an excellent vantage point from which to survey the waters of the natural dam that lies at its foot and attracts a large number of wallowing elephants. Later, you will return to budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by your overnight stay.

Day 3

Early morning game drive followed by late breakfast then you will depart from Tsavo East National Park for Tsavo West where you will have a whole day to explore Tsavo West, which offers diverse scenic views. You will explore the park with chances of seeing elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, leopard, rhino, lesser kudu, among other wild. You will proceed to the budget camp or guest house for lunch followed by a visit to the Mzima Springs which is a freshwater oasis and is fed by water that drains from the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and Chyulu Hills. It is the main supply of water to Mombasa and its environs. You will have a chance to see hippos, crocodiles and different species of birds not forgetting fish from the Perspex windows of the underwater observation chamber. Later, you will return to the budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by your overnight stay.

After breakfast, continue with your safari passing through the Shetani Lava Flow where you will have a stopover. Then proceed to Amboseli National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch at a budget camp or guest house. Late in the afternoon, proceed for game drive in search of gigantic elephants the park is famous for, not forgetting the views of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day. You will have a chance to get out of your safari vehicle and walk to the Observation Hill which offers superb views of the marshy areas and surrounding plains with chances of seeing leopard, cheetah, wild dog, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lion, flamingo, among other wild. You will return to budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by your overnight stay.

After breakfast, continue with your safari to Nanyuki where you will have a stopover at the equator for photo and demonstration of how water spins North and South of the equator. Later, you will proceed to Isiolo then have an unforgettable journey into Samburu National Reserve. It is a haven of beauty and peace in semi-arid land, rugged landscape and majestic surroundings. Lunch will be served at a budget camp or guest house. Then you'll proceed for a game drive where you will have a chance to see Grevy zebra, Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali Ostrich, long-necked gerenuk, and dainty dik dik, as well as some of the most beautiful birdlife in Kenya. You'll also see herds of elephant, plains game and their predators. Dinner and your overnight stay are at a budget camp or guest house.

Coffee/Tea will be served then you'll depart for an early morning game drive. You'll have chances of seeing leopard, Grevy's Zebra, gerenuk, oryx, among other wild animals before returning to the budget camp or guest house for late breakfast. You will either relax or have an optional visit to Samburu cultural village. There is also an optional camel ride. Afterwards, lunch will be served. Late in the afternoon proceed for another game drive before returning to budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by an overnight stay.

After breakfast with a picnic lunch, you will proceed to Sirimon Gate (2,660m) at the base of Mount Kenya. Here you will go through the park formalities then commence your gentle 4-hour hike, arriving at Old Moses Camp (3,300m). Then descend to the park gate and board your safari vehicle that will take you back to the budget camp/guest house for dinner and your overnight stay.

Later, you will depart for Lake Naivasha where you will arrive for dinner followed by your overnight stay at a budget camp/guest house.

After breakfast, you will depart for Hell’s Gate National Park which lies south of Lake Naivasha. Here you will have a chance to explore the park either on foot or cycle among the giraffe, zebra, gazelles and different species of birds before your return to the budget camp or guest house for lunch. Later, you will proceed to Elsamere Conservancy which is the former home of the late Joy Adamson. Visit the museum which contains a small collection of Joy's paintings and artifacts. You will also have a chance of seeing the memorabilia from the film Born Free and a range of photos documenting Joy and George's work. You'll then return to the budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart from Lake Naivasha with a picnic lunch and continue with your safari to Lake Bogoria. Here you will have a chance of seeing gazelles, zebras, baboons and Greater kudu. Later, you will enjoy a walk on the shores of Lake Bogoria with chances of seeing flamingos among different species of birds. Later, you will proceed to Lake Baringo which is a fresh water lake. It lies off the beaten track in a hot and dusty setting with over 470 species of birds which makes it a birding hotspot. It is also richly endowed with scenic views and Lake Baringo is home to three major communities namely Tugen, Ilchamus and Pokot who practise fishing, livestock keeping and farming. You will arrive in time for dinner and your overnight at a budget camp or guest house.

In the morning, you will proceed to Lake Baringo for two hours boat ride giving you a chance to explore the lake which is inhabited by hippos, crocodiles and different species of birds. Later you will return to the either budget camp or guest house for breakfast followed by a guided nature walk where you will have a chance of seeing black scorpion, brown scorpion, carpet viper snake etc. not forgetting a chance to identify different species of birds. Lunch will be served and later you will have a chance to visit the Pokot village before you return to your budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by overnight.

After breakfast you will depart from Lake Baringo for Lake Nakuru National Park. Here you will arrive in time to explore the park enroute to the guest house where lunch will be served followed by a game drive. You will have a chance of seeing flamingos and different species of birds on the shores of Lake Nakuru. You will also see rhino, giraffe, buffalo, zebra among other species not forgetting a chance to visit the baboon cliff for the scenic view of the park. Dinner and your overnight stay are at a guest house/budget hotel.

The Mara is actually the northern portion of the great plain’s ecosystem in the neighbouring Tanzania called the Serengeti. It is the home of the "Big Five"—lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant, as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, vast herds of plains antelope and numerous other wildlife. You will arrive in time for lunch at budget camp or guest house, followed by late afternoon game drive. You'll then return to the budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by an overnight rest.

Breakfast will be served then you will have 2 full days exploring the expansive Masai Mara National Reserve in search of black manned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. Not forgetting the chance of witnessing the wildebeest migration (if you visit in July through to early September) with a visit to the Mara River. Later, you will return to the budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by your overnight stay.

Have an early morning game drive followed by breakfast then depart from Masai Mara National Reserve with an optional visit to the Maasai cultural village. Continue with your safari through Narok town with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley to admire the scenic views of the escarpment on your way to Nairobi. You will arrive in time to be dropped off at the airport for your onward journey connections.
