Day 1

You will be picked up from your Arusha hotel or the Kilimanjaro/Arusha airport at 8:00 am. From there, you will drive for three hours to Tarangire National Park. Once at the park, you will enjoy a full-day game drive, after which you will head to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park, located 115 km from Arusha, is named after the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink. The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and the iconic baobab trees. Often called the "Tree of Life," the baobab is revered in various cultures for its mythical powers.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will head towards Serengeti National Park, traveling through the beautiful, high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we will descend into the heart of wild Africa: Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see.

Our destination is the central park area, known as Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Serengeti. This region features the Seronera River, a vital water source that attracts a diverse array of wildlife representative of the park's species.

We will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore the park's wonders.

Day 3

You will wake up early in the morning and enjoy a full breakfast before starting your game drive inside the Serengeti. We will ensure that you follow the wildebeest migration during your time with us.

The Great Migration varies each year. The best chance of witnessing it is from June to September, while the wildebeest calving occurs from January to March. From July to September, your driver can take you to the northern Serengeti to watch the wildebeest cross the Mara River. Over a million and a half wildebeest travel throughout the year in search of fresh grazing pastures and better water sources.

After your full-day game drive, you will return to your accommodations for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Wake up early and enjoy a cup of coffee before embarking on your morning game drive. Experience the breathtaking sunrise before returning to the campsite by 11:00 am for brunch. After brunch, set out on another game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 5

After breakfast, we will descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, where you will have the opportunity to view the Big Five. Following a full game drive in the crater, we will proceed to Lake Manyara. Here, you can observe buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and numerous other species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. Additionally, you have the option to visit the local Maasai people and learn about their cultural activities. In the evening, we will drive you back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
