You will meet by our representative at the airport on arrival who will introduce you to this beautiful country. After meet and greet you will be transferred to Arusha to your first accommodation. Feel free to ask any questions. If arriving early and the weather allows, you will be welcomed with the beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arriving at your place you will enjoy some rests waiting for the great moment ahead. Adds on activities are available in case you arrive early and you want to explore the city.

Guided game drive and Walking safari with armed ranger
Set your camera on, ready for capturing moments. After breakfast you will depart to Arusha National Park, a small for national park standards, but diverse with facets of nature. The base of the mountain is surrounded with forest which has become a home to a varied wildlife and abundance of birds. Around 400 species of birds has been recorded here and that makes Arusha National Park to be a birdwatcher’s paradise. Black and white colobus monkey, buffalo, bushbuck, elephant, warthog, and zebra are some other wildlife which can be spotted in this park. If luck you can see the elusive leopard. At this point your camera will be full of moments ready to get back to Arusha for overnight.

Tarangire National Park- Elephants Play ground
After breakfast you will proceed with your photo safaris toward Tarangire National Park. The Park got its name from Tarangire River that flows through the center of the park and form the dry season refuge for wildlife especially Elephants. Tarangire is also known as the elephant playground. From your open roof safari vehicle, you will experience multitude creatures like lions, zebras, warthogs, wildebeest, and buffalo can be spotted here. Looking up above the trees you can glimpse lions stalking prey or leopards watching and relaxing up there. During the dry seasons Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and bird life congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Explore the Endless Plains of Serengeti National Park
Your photography safari will proceed to Central Serengeti where you will spend 2 days chasing for Big 5 and other animals. The word Serengeti comes from the Maasai word "Siringet," which means “the endless plain.” The Central Serengeti is a year-round game viewing site that features a greater diversity of wildlife than anywhere in else in the park, including elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, reedbuck, buffalo and baboon (all of which remain even after the spectacular hordes of blue wildebeest and zebras have gone). The famous Serengeti National Park is the most well-known safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. Look out for the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass which provide ample shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. After a full-day game drive, you will head back to your camp for evening leisure, dinner and your overnight stay.

Exploring Serengeti and the Migration experiences
Depending on the location of Migrations these three days will give you the chances to explore and experiences it.
The experiences on this package will depend on the months you are travelling. Below is how the trip will be allocated as per migration locations:
December - March/April:
Southern Serengeti (Ndutu)
See great herds of wildebeest and zebras. Along with the river crossings, this is a real highlight of the wildebeest’s journey and a fabulous time to see the herds congregate on the dramatic sweeping plains of the south. You will see the big herds all together as they always come south for calving season.
July - October: Northern Serengeti National Park (River Crossing) - annual migration of giant herds of grazers across Northern Tanzania and Kenya where over two million wildebeest, zebras and gazelles move through the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems in search of green pasture, in a regular pattern. Dinner and overnight at Camp.

Final time at Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast you will embark upon another incredible game drive in Serengeti before driving back to Ngorongoro conservancy. Arriving at the edge of the crater Ngorongoro you will have your first foretaste of what awaits you the following day- glistening streams, open grassland and infinite number of animals.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will continue with the game heading to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing on its floor. Ngorongoro crater is a UNESCO world heritage site formed million years ago that inhabits more than 25,000 resident animals. Almost every East African Savannah animal species can be spotted in the grass grasslands and acacia forests including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard). Other animals around this crater floor includes wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and more than 500 bird species are recorded in this area. If luck you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass. Later you proceed to your accommodation for an overnight.

Great moments with the hunter gatherers - the Hadzabe
After morning breakfast you will go for the Hadzabe for cultural experience. The Hadzabe is a community that offers a unique glimpse into traditional ways of life. These indigenous communities, inhabiting remote regions of Tanzania and southern Africa, respectively, maintain age-old customs rooted in hunter-gatherer lifestyles. Interacting with these communities provides a rare opportunity to witness ancient survival techniques, such as hunting with traditional tools and gathering wild plants. The exchange also fosters a deeper understanding of their rich oral traditions, unique languages, and close-knit communal structures. Engaging with the Hadzabe and Bushmen offers a profound insight into the resilience of human diversity and the preservation of ancestral practices in an ever-changing world.

Lake Manyara National park, medicinal walk and Sundowner
Depart after breakfast to Lake Manyara National Park, the famous for its tree climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore. It is only 205sq miles in size, this park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees which are a home to troops of baboons and blue monkey. The shallow alkaline lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is a home to thousands of flamingos during the rain seasons. Later you will proceed to your camp for more experiences with your camera including medicinal walk and Learn about the different root and plant extracts still being used by the Maasai on a daily basis. Visit an Orpul area where young warriors learn an age old tradition from the elders and the medicine man of the village - gain a deeper understanding of the real Maasai culture. Your day will end up with a beautiful sundowner setup with refreshments.

Masai Boma Visit, Bird Watching and Surprises
Early morning is recommended where you will wakeup early and start the walking around 06.15 - 06.30 commencement by foot from camp with birding guide, explore the surrounding bush with Isoitok’s own bird list to see how many species can be spotted before breakfast. Currently 154 confirmed species in and around camp. Later you will enjoy the breakfast and then another experience of a Visit to Maasai Boma – take a look behind the scenes and experience the daily living of the Maasai. Learn about social/family structure, marriage, roles and responsibilities. Meet with the Maasai women and their children.
Later you will get back to the camp for relaxation waiting for the exclusive Bush lunch. This is the best way of farewell the Bush.
Later you will proceed to Arusha, then to Moshi for more of what we have prepared for you.

Materuni Waterfalls hike, Coffee tour and Local Lunch

Complete your adventure with an authentic Tanzanian lunch prepared by the local community. Later you will be transferred to the airport for your departure back home or extension to Zanzibar. This will mark the end of our Photography safari with you full of moments and memories captured with your cameras.
