Day 1

Drive, Relax and enjoy the scenic 3-4 hour drive through the Tanzanian countryside to the Marangu Gate, the starting point of our trek. Upon arrival at Marangu Gate, you'll register with the Kilimanjaro National Park authorities. As you begin your ascent, you'll be enveloped in the dense, lush rainforest. The sounds of exotic birds and the chance to spot Colobus monkeys add to the enchanting atmosphere. Arrive at Mandara Hut in the late afternoon. This cozy alpine hut will be your resting place for the night. Enjoy a hearty dinner prepared by your team, and relax as you soak in the peaceful ambiance of the forest.

After a nourishing breakfast, embark on a short hike to Maundi Crater. This spot offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and a glimpse of the diverse ecosystems found on Kilimanjaro. It's a perfect photo opportunity and a moment to appreciate the beauty of the mountain. Begin your descent back to Marangu Gate, taking approximately 2-3 hours. Enjoy the changing perspectives as you retrace your steps through the rainforest. Upon reaching Marangu Gate, enjoy a picnic lunch and reflect on your adventure. We'll then drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early even, Once back in Arusha Summit Lodge, you can unwind and enjoy a delicious meal, savoring the memories of your Kilimanjaro experience.

Your journey begins with a comfortable early morning departure from Arusha, where you'll be whisked away on a scenic drive through the Tanzanian countryside. As you traverse the rugged terrain, keep your eyes peeled for glimpses of wildlife along the way, setting the stage for the safari experience of a lifetime.

Upon arrival in central Serengeti, you'll be greeted by the breathtaking expanse of the savannah, teeming with life as far as the eye can see. Guided by our expert safari drivers, you'll embark on an exhilarating game drive, venturing deep into the heart of this wildlife paradise.

From towering giraffes to majestic lions and elusive leopards, every moment offers the chance to encounter Africa's most iconic inhabitants in their natural habitat. Later evening drive to Lodge for Dinner & Overnight.

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

A morning game drive at Serengeti National Park, where all three of the biggest cats are easily spotted. Lions are everywhere and are found on kill, and the cheetah is common in the southeastern plains. Leopards can often be found lazing in huge trees along the Seronera River. The herd of buffalo, a smaller group of elephants and giraffes, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle are residents of Serengeti at any time of the year. Later after lunch, you will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as you have reached the edge of the crater, you will have a remarkable view of this impressive natural wonder. Dinner and overnight at Ang ata Lodge.

Ngorongoro to Arusha

After smelling some early morning coffee, your senses will be ready to experience the thrill of a kill while chilling in the jeep during your morning game drive. Indigenous tribes are permitted to live in a conservation area, and local Maasai graze their livestock on the crater floor in harmony with the nearby herds of buffalo and wildebeest. Later you will drive back to Arusha full of stories to tell.
