Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport you will be welcomed by our staff, who will accompany you to your lodge to enjoy some relaxation and perhaps take a dip in the pool. The lodge is located far from the city center, but if you want to take a tour, ask our guide: he will be happy to show you around.

Day 2

Materuni is the home of the Chagga People and is still an authentic tribal village.
You will visit the waterfalls, which are about 40 minutes away on foot. Along the way, your English-speaking guide will inform you about Chagga culture and village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking and with a bit of luck you will be able to see the summit of Kilimanjaro. The drop of these waters is 95 meters. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim, so don't forget your swimsuit! Then, upon returning from the mini-trekking, you can enjoy a delicious local lunch and you will be guests of the Materuni family with their typical dishes.

Lake Manyara Park is one of those with the highest biodiversity in Tanzania: in a park of only 330 square kilometres, we find five different ecosystems. The alkaline water lake is home to flocks of pink flamingos, which at sunset blend in with the sunlight, giving rise to wonderful landscapes. The park is famous for the tree lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and the numerous colony of baboons that populate the forest and which will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.
Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge (breakfast-lunch-dinner). Twenty-six Cottages overlooking a coffee plantation within the Forest Reserve to ensure a fascinating landscape.

After breakfast we will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This area is famous for safaris and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Ngorongoro crater is located 2,200 meters above sea level, has a diameter of over 16 kilometers and occupies an area of approximately 265 square kilometers. This park is the largest continuous caldera in the world and one of Africa's natural wonders, inhabited by approximately 30,000 year-round resident large mammals, such as buffalo, lion, elephant, cheetah and rhinoceros, as well as a variety of birds.
Overnight stay inside the Tarangire park in the Ang'ata Camp tented camp, to spend some time in contact with nature and enjoy life (breakfast-lunch-dinner). Zero impact and sustainable mobile tented camp managed by local staff.

In this park there are nine vegetation zones ranging from acacia forests to green plains by the river, from vegetation along deep gorges to rocky hilltops. In all these areas numerous animals are found: zebras, impalas, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, "eland" antelopes, large cats (such as cheetahs) and many birds (more than 300 species). The vegetation is denser than in other parks and offers a greater feeling of "wild", making it more interesting to spot the animals that live there.
After lunch we will head to Arusha airport, where the flight is scheduled to take you to Zanzibar for some relaxation. Taxi driver included to take you to the Resort as soon as you land in Zanzibar.
