Nairobi-Amboseli

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel stay or JKIA in Nairobi by the driver and company representative guide who will welcome you and brief you on your safari. The journey to Amboseli National Park will then start with one stopover along the way. Travel time is around 4 to 5 hrs. You will arrive at your accommodation in Amboseli in time for lunch. Amboseli boasts spectacular views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.

After check-in, you can opt to go swimming or take an afternoon nap. Relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay, we will return to the camp for dinner and accommodation.

Have an early breakfast and prepare for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park as you bask under the sun while taking in the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife ranging from zebras, lions, cheetahs, gazelles, wildebeests, giraffes, baboons, and herds of elephants.

An optional visit to a Maasai village can also be arranged. This visit gives a good tour of the Maasai culture whereby you will be welcomed with songs and a dance presentation which forms part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A look into their homes and social structure is one of the most memorable experiences to take with you. Please note that the entrance fee of 20 USD is not included in the package.

Later, we return to the lodge for an overnight stay.
