Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, we will embark on a full-day game drive to prime locations for spotting lions, cheetahs, leopards, and classic herbivores such as elephants, wildebeest, buffalo, deer, and gazelles. As the day winds down and other visitors depart, we will continue our game drive into the late evening, taking advantage of a less crowded and more active scene in Tarangire. We will then camp in an authentic wilderness camp, offering a peaceful and quiet experience that stands out from the busier camps in the Serengeti.

Begin your adventure with an early 6:00 am game drive in Tarangire, continuing until late morning to avoid the midday sun and crowds. After checking out, we'll head to Fig Tree Lodge for lunch and relaxation before embarking on a cultural exploration of Mto wa Mbu. Discover farms, waterfalls, and enjoy biking, returning to the lodge for refreshments and dinner. But the excitement isn't over yet! At 8:00 pm, we'll journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a thrilling night game drive, encountering nocturnal wildlife in a serene and uncrowded wilderness, adding a unique twist to your safari experience.
