Day 1

The exciting moments starts where you will be picked at your lodge on this day and start by driving along The Great Northern Freeway that passes across Masai steppe and villages toward Tarangire National Park. The park is a home to a large elephant population, iconic Baobab trees, and diversity of wildlife. The Park named after the Tarangire River that flows through it. The river attracts a lot of diverse animals and you will be able to spot a lot of elephants, giraffe, lions, antelope and Zebra. Other animals are wildebeest, gazelles, cheetahs and leopards, but also the seldom seen Kudu, Oryx and Gerenuk. Tarangire hosts more than 550 bird species which gives an opportunity for bird watching: brightly plumaged yellow necked spur-fowls, white crowned shrikes and black necked weavers etc. are recorded here.
Before sunset, you will be taken back to your accommodation for an evening leisure and an overnight.

After breakfast you will proceed with the game to Ngorongoro Crater for more game drives. Ngorongoro is a home a home to over 120 species of mammals including the famous Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino) and one among the world’s heritage site. The crater is a place to see the endangered black rhinos enjoying their meals out on the grass plain and the large number of hippos enjoying the cool water. Other animals including Lions, leopards, jackals, cheetahs, hyenas’ wildebeest, Zebra, antelope, buffalo and more. Ngorongoro crater is a truly safari destination. After your all exciting time at the crater you will ascend and proceed to your lodge for overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park, a home to a tree climbing lions

Depart after breakfast to Lake Manyara National Park, the famous for its tree climbing lions and the flamingos on the lake shore. Its groundwater forests, bush plains, baobab-strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds. Pink flamingos stoop and graze by the thousands, colorful specks against the grey minerals of the lakeshore. It is only 205sq miles in size; this park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees which are a home to troops of baboons and blue monkey. The shallow alkaline lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is a home to thousands of flamingos during the rain seasons. Other animals can be seen here including giraffes, elephants, impalas and the hippos. Later you will drive back to Arusha and being transferred to your hotel. This will mark the end of your 3 days safari with us.
