View Great Migration in Northern Serengeti National Park

From July to September, a large number of people travel to the Serengeti to see the Great Migration. During these months, river crossings are a sight - herds frequently experience terror as crocodiles on the prowl try to capture them as they cross.
The herd heads north toward the Masai Mara in Kenya when the drought arrives in May, chewing down the tall green grass before the zebras and gazelles arrive. Risks associated with the migration include having to cross rivers in front of over 3,000 crocodiles that are waiting eagerly for a meal.
