Day 1

SGR Fast Train to Morogoro - Mikumi National Park

You'll be picked up at your hotel with a morning transfer to the train station at 6:00 am. You'll connect with a fast train to Mikumi via Morogoro. It will take one and a half hours to reach. On arrival, you'll meet your driver for a transfer to Mikumi National Park. On arrival, you'll enjoy a full-day wildlife viewing drive in the park. In the afternoon, around 1:30 pm, you'll have lunch at the restaurant. Later, after the sunset view, you will transfer to Mikumi Bandas for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mikumi National Park Game Drive

Early at 6:30 am, you'll have breakfast. You'll enjoy another day of wildlife viewing. This is a good time to look for animals like elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and if lucky even lions and leopards. At 4:00 pm, you will drive back to Morogoro for your train at 7:30 pm. You'll go back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival, you will drive to your hotel.
