Nairobi to Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel or airport at 7:30 am and head straight to the Mara. You will be met by a representative from the office, who will give you a briefing on your safari. Immediately after the briefing, you will embark on your safari to Masai Mara National Reserve which is a 6-hour drive from Nairobi. On your way from Nairobi, you will enjoy the scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the Great Rift Valley.

You will make a short stop at the Great Rift Valley Escarpment for a bathroom break and photography. Your expected time of arrival should be in time for lunch. Check-in at Mara Serena Safari Lodge and after a warm meal, refreshment and slight relaxation, you will go out for the first game drive of the day. Masai Mara is well known for its vast wildlife range including elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos and many more. After the afternoon game drive, you will head back to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Full Day

Very early in the morning our guide will pick you up from the lodge and take you to the balloon safari. This amazing experience lasts for about one hour. Imagine drifting silently above the vast plains of the Masai Mara, witnessing the sunrise paint the African sky with vibrant colours. Witness the drama of the wilderness unfold from a breath-taking perspective - towering over herds of grazing wildebeest, spotting elusive predators and marvelling at the majestic landscape.

Upon landing you will have an amazing champagne breakfast before embarking on a full-day safari game drive. Lunch will be enjoyed under a Croton tree in the amazing Mara Plains. After an amazing day and a thrilling game drive, head back to Mara Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Enjoy your last breakfast at the lodge and prepare to leave the Mara. You will have a small game drive en route and get a chance to spot the resident wildlife one last time. After exiting the park on your way to Nairobi, you will have one last stop for a quick lunch before your drop off at a Nairobi hotel or Airport.
