Day 1

Arrival to Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)/ Arusha Airport. Where, you will meet with our representative followed by transfer to Arusha which will approximately be 1 hour drive. Upon arrival at Arusha Region, you will have options to do some activities such as art galley, city tour, museum tour, local market tour at your own arrangement.

Day 2

Materuni village

Materuni village

Pick up from hotel at (08:00h). Where, you will take 3hrs drive to the Materuni village located in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and start your tour at a local coffee plantation farm where, you will learn to grow, roast and grind your own coffee, you will also take a nature walk to Materuni Waterfall. On the way to Materuni Waterfall you will get the opportunity to see how local fruit like avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas grow as well as learn some of the local history, traditions, village economy, agricultural and cultural life along the way. Then, the day trip will end with a refreshing dip in the natural pool and a delicious local lunch accompanied with local alcohol from the village before heading to Arusha for overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Enjoy early morning breakfast from the hotel and meeting with the guide at (07:30h) for a drive to Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area route which is approximately 7 hours’ drive depending on traffic jam and weather condition followed by a half day game drive at Serengeti National Park. The park is famous as is one of the national parks that hosts the great migration of wildebeest and one of the largest national parks in Tanzania with an area of 14,763 square km, Serengeti is a home for an abundance of wildlife and is one of the few parks where you can spot the big 5 animals and many carnivores together with birds of prey.

Day 4

On this day after having a warm breakfast at (07:00h) you will be heading on the northern part of Serengeti for a full day game drive. During this time of the year by chance you may come across a wide group of wildebeest proceeding with their migration cycle. In the evening, you will be driven back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, at (07:00h) you will have a morning game drive at Serengeti National Park where it will be easy to spot abundant group of animals especially predators such as lion, cheetah and leopards as they preferers to hunt in the cool of dawn and dusk. Then, you will head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro.

Day 6

After an early breakfast at (07:00h), collect your packed lunch boxes and descend to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Ngorongoro crater is a deep volcanic crater with about 200kms across, 600 kms deep and 300sq kms in area, this caldera is a breathtaking natural wonder as it is known as one of the 8th Wonder of the World by UNESCO also it is listed as a protected area in world heritage site. Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, you have a good chance of spotting, The Big 5‟: i.e Lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Within the Protected are they are villages of Maasai who are allowed to coexisted with animals under sanction rules by the Government.

Hadzabe Tribe

Hadzabe Tribe

(06:00h) Early in the morning before breakfast (packing breakfast box is optional), as you depart for hunting with Hadzabe tribe(bushmen) and learn and experience their lifestyle and culture as they will share their hunting techniques, honey harvesting and fire making. Then return to the lodge for breakfast followed by packing for check out. Later, in the afternoon you will have Lunch at the hotel (Packing lunch box is optional) then a visit to Datoga black smith village for cultural tour and departure to Arusha (4 hours drive).
