You'll enjoy early morning breakfast at the campsite before embarking on a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, armed with hot lunch for the day's adventure. Today is dedicated to exploring the realm of predators on the savannah plains, where lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, caracals, and serval cats roam. The picturesque plains are adorned with various antelope species such as gazelle, topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, zebra, and wildebeest. Serengeti boasts a rich avian population, with over 500 species of birds.

Continue your exploration, with opportunities to spot cheetahs, hippos, and various bird species.
Later in the afternoon start driving to Ngorongoro crater for dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation, sharing stories of the day’s wildlife encounters.

Optional activities like a hot air balloon ride can be arranged for a unique perspective.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After a pre-dawn breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. It’s the largest intact caldera in the world, home to a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, and hyenas. The crater is also known for its stunning views and diverse ecosystems.
Spend the morning on a game drive in the crater, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five and other fascinating wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife.
After lunch, begin the journey back to Arusha (approximately 3-4 hours drive) where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel for relaxation.

After breakfast, head to Materuni Waterfalls, a stunning natural attraction. Hike through lush landscapes to reach the falls, where you can take a refreshing swim though the water gets cold, later visit a nearby Chaga village for a cultural tour. Learn about the local customs, traditional crafts, and agricultural practices. Participate in activities such as coffee-making demonstrations and enjoy local lunch.
Return to Arusha for drop off at your hotel or airport where it marks the end of your safari adventure with memories to last a lifetime.
