Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Our safari guide will collect you from the lodge in Arusha for the drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately two hours). Tarangire, best known for its elephant families, savannah, iconic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps, is home to the life-giving Tarangire River. Animals gather at the river and giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest are often seen. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeest. These animals are closely attended by a range of predators, our Panthera friends, lion and leopard. From the open roof of the truck, we will have the opportunity to absorb the landscapes and view the wildlife.

After a full day in the park, we will drive to the excellently appointed Ngare Lodge. Here, we will enjoy dinner in the aesthetically delightful restaurant, relax, and spend the night in your capacious rooms.
