Day 2

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, Start your game drive in Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant populations, as well as other wildlife such as antelopes, buffaloes, cheetahs, and lions. At 12:30 pm: Take a break for lunch at a picnic site or a designated camp. In the afternoon, we will continue with the game drive, exploring the park's unique landscape features, including the Tarangire River and its numerous baobab trees. This natural water source serves as a crucial attraction for migratory animals such as wildebeest, elands, zebras and gazelles and those funky baobab trees creating spectacle of wildlife activities. After the day's adventures, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

After an early breakfast, depart for a morning breakfast in Lake Manyara National Park, exploring the diverse landscapes and wildlife of the park, coupled with a delightful picnic lunch. The park is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, and Hippos and is nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment making it an awe-inspiring destination known for its stunning natural beauty.

As we venture through the park, you'll be captivated by the lush greenery, comprised of towering trees in the groundwater forest, serving as the habitat for troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Moving further, the landscape transitions into woodland, grassland, and swamps, leading to the mesmerizing soda lake where an impressive array of over 350 bird species awaits, including the vibrant flamingos, pelicans, sacred ibises, grebes, and storks. Afterward, we will embark on the journey to Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast in the morning, we will check-out of the hotel with our packed lunch and venture into the breathtaking 100-square-mile Ngorongoro Crater, an ancient volcanic caldera, to observe the diverse wildlife roaming the vast grasslands on the crater floor. This natural enclosure with its watering holes is home to approximately 30,000 animals, including the renowned Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, along with a myriad of other fascinating species. The Ngorongoro Crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera on Earth but is also encompassed by towering walls ascending 610 meters from the floor, showcasing its status as one of the natural wonders of the world.

This veritable haven for wildlife offers spectacular animal encounters year-round, thanks to the permanent availability of water and grass. We'll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool before embarking on the journey to Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight.

Morning and evening game drives through the Serengeti plains offer the opportunity to witness one of the most impressive wildlife sanctuaries in the world. After your delicious breakfast, we will embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. This park is arguably the best sanctuary in the world hosting over 2 million mammal species, including the Africa's Big Five. The area boasts a great diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, impalas, buffaloes, birds, and up to ten thousand elephants.

The park is normally a scene of the annual animal migration, each year thousands of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles make their way across the steep banks of the Mara River braving the imminent threat of death. As they forge ahead, they encounter lurking crocodiles waiting to pounce on them, adding an element of danger to their journey. You will enjoy you picnic lunch in the park after which the game drive continues till evening when you will return for dinner.
