Welcome to Madagascar! Depending on your flight schedule, the guide will welcome you to the airport. You'll transfer to your hotel. In Nosy Be, all you need are fins/mask/snorkel to discover the richness of the marine fauna and flora. On this excursion, we will take you to discover the exceptional biodiversity of the coral reefs of the islands around Nosy Be. You'll start the excursion with the island of Nosy Tanikely and its natural aquarium: Certainly one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots in Madagascar! We then continue our day to the island of Nosy Sakatia to have lunch on the beach and meet the green turtles that come to feed on the seagrass bed. You will be accompanied by a snorkeling guide, who will help you discover its rare treasure spots. You won't want to get your head out of the water! You'll transfer by boat to your hotel. Your overnight stay will be on a full board basis at Tsara Komba Lodge.

The morning is devoted to the search for marine megafauna. Depending on the season: dolphins, humpback whales, Omura whales, and whale sharks will be our objectives for this first part of the day. The rest of the program of the outing: discovery, lunch, and relaxation on one of the most beautiful islands in the world! Respect for the instructions and behavior of animals is a priority for us! The briefing, which will be given to you at the start of the outing, will give you the behavior to be respected during this outing. Your overnight stay will be on a full board basis at Tsara Komba Lodge.

Day 4

Lemurs in Nosy Komba

Follow your private guide for a trek through the dense and majestic forest bordering the property. Nosy Komba is a former volcano today covered by a lush tropical forest, which is home to all kinds of trees or flowers and extremely rich wildlife. You can meet the mischievous Macaco lemurs (a 4-hour trek), the slow but bright chameleons, birds, lizards, frogs, and colorful butterflies. You’ll also be passing through vanilla and wild pepper plantations, bringing a delightful touch of fragrance to your trip.
You’ll be meeting Madame Yvonne, who will be talking to you about the mysteries and benefits of the medicinal plants found in this huge forest. With the 4-hour trek, you can reach the highest point of Nosy Komba and walk back down to the village on the other side. In this case, you’ll be returning by dugout canoe.

Depending on the tide, you'll have a boat transfer to Nosy Be. Installation on a half-board basis at your hotel. (L'heure bleue ecolodge or similar). Nosy Be, is a piece of paradise on earth, located in the Mozambique Channel in the Indian Ocean northwest of Madagascar. The island is considered to be the tourist showcase of the latter. Nosy Be, meaning "The Big Island", contains natural wonders. Going on a trip to Nosy Be means choosing a relaxing holiday close to nature. The day will be spent at leisure, with a vehicle available for your souvenir purchases. Around 4 p.m., you'll head to Mont Passot to admire the view and the legendary sunset of the region.
