Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

You will begin your safari adventure with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. A dedicated driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and take you to the airport. Upon your arrival in Arusha, you will head to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive and lunch amidst its stunning landscapes.

Tarangire is known for its magnificent baobab trees and large elephant population. In addition to elephants, you can expect to see water buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, wildebeests, and the highest concentration of baboons in the world. The day will end with dinner and an overnight stay at a comfortable midrange lodge in Arusha.

The guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a two-hour drive to Materuni Village. This village is surrounded by beautiful tropical rainforests, offering stunning views of the area. You will have the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the Chagga people, including tasting traditional banana beer and coffee roasted using local methods. You can even participate in the coffee-making process from start to finish.

After the hike, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool at the waterfall's base. For lunch, you will have the option to dine at either the waterfalls or the hot springs. Following your coffee tour, you will experience a local food buffet before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam.
