Day 1

Your safari starts with a pick-up at 7:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, from where you drive to Amboseli National Park.

You will arrive in Amboseli shortly after noon and check into your lodge. Then, have a hot lunch and time to rest. At 4:00 pm, depart for an afternoon game drive till the evening.

The highlight of Amboseli is the remarkable concentration of elephants, the most in the world! It is home to over 1,600 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name.

You will return to your lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, maximizing your chances of spotting wildlife when they are most active. Return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast, savoring the flavors of the African bush.

Alternatively, you can have a relaxed breakfast and then depart for a full-day game drive, leaving the lodge at around 7:30 am. You will have a packed picnic lunch which you will enjoy during the day. In the afternoon, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park through Lake Naivasha

Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park through Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will check out and drive down the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will make a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a scenic photo session. You will pass by Lake Naivasha, viewing the epic movements of the birdlife.

You will arrive at your accommodation in the afternoon in time for a hot lunch and check-in. Relax as you enjoy the various facilities and activities offered by the hotel.

Later, around 4:00 pm, you will embark on a game drive in the park, keeping your eyes peeled for the park's famous flamingos, as well as other wildlife such as rhinos, giraffes and buffalos. Enjoy your game drive until sunset as you find a scenic spot within the park to witness the sunset over the lake.

Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast, you will depart for the fabled Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey typically takes 4 to 5 hours by road. Arrive at your lodge early in the afternoon for check-in and a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive.

Masai Mara National Reserve is known for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos), cheetahs, hyenas and more. Enjoy your game drive until evening, as you find a scenic spot within the reserve to witness the sunset over the savannah, capturing stunning photographs of the golden light bathing the landscape.

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss the day's schedule with your guide.

You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive around the park at 8:30 am, carrying a picnic lunch. This will allow you to visit the Mara River, where the migration happens between July and October. Also, you will have a better chance to view wildlife all day. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
