After an early departure from O.R. Tambo Airport (07h45) via a shared shuttle, we make our way to the Drakensberg Mountains, where you will be met by your private safari guide. This afternoon, you will enjoy the scenic sights of the iconic Panorama Route on your way to your first destination on this safari. Settle in for a restful night's sleep at a mid-range lodge in Phalaborwa, conveniently located right at the entrance gate to Kruger National Park, for an early safari start the next day. Dinner is available (for your own account) at the lodge's restaurant.

Kruger Park Safari

Today, we begin our safari adventure early in the morning. Your qualified nature guide is an expert in locating the best animal sightings and giving you all the background information on their behavior and natural habitat. The open safari vehicle gives you a perfect vantage point to look over high bushes and trees and spot animals in the wild. In the evening, your guide prepares a delicious dinner to celebrate your safari adventure.

Optional: Include a night drive or bush walk guided by Kruger Park rangers.

Game Drive and Riverboat Safari

Enjoy your last safari drive this morning before we exit the national park around midday. We will take you to Olifants River Lodge in Phalaborwa, where you will join a sunset riverboat safari on the Olifants River. You have many more opportunities to observe different animal species in a private game reserve from the unique viewing platform of a riverboat at sunset with complimentary sundowner drinks. Dinner is on your own account at the lodge's restaurant.
